Mustard oils from nasturtium and horseradish can combat bacteria and inhibit inflammation. A combination of both medicinal plants has an antibacterial effect and relieves symptoms of sinusitis, bronchitis and cystitis. Mustard oils, like essential oils, are slightly volatile and act on the excretory pathways, for example through exhalation in the respiratory tract.

The active ingredients are highly volatile and therefore cannot be concentrated by extraction from the herbal raw materials. This is why the pure, powdered plant material is processed into a tablet. The tablets are easy to swallow and the recommended number of tablets should be taken to ingest sufficient active ingredient each day.

Cystitis is an inflammatory disease of the bladder mainly caused by bacteria. It is a common infection that mainly affects women. Typical symptoms of cystitis are a frequent urge to urinate, pain or burning when urinating, cloudy urine, an unpleasant smell of the urine and sometimes pain in the lower abdomen.

Sinusitis is an inflammation of the mucous membranes of the sinuses, usually caused by viruses. It causes swelling of the mucous membranes in the sinuses and can trigger symptoms such as nasal congestion, headaches, a feeling of pressure in the face, fatigue and a reduced sense of smell.

Bronchitis is an inflammatory disease of the bronchia, the larger airways in the lungs. It can occur in acute or chronic form. Acute bronchitis usually occurs as a result of a viral infection and causes symptoms such as a cough, difficulty breathing and fever. Chronic bronchitis develops over a long period of time; it is accompanied by a persistent cough and is often caused by smoking.

Medical attention is recommended in the event of persistent and chronic symptoms.
